Taking the first step toward counseling can feel overwhelming, and I know that walking into an unfamiliar office may add to that stress. I want your experience to feel as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Below, you’ll find a virtual tour of the office so you can familiarize yourself with the space before your appointment.
My office is located at 2700 Corporate Drive, Suite 200, Birmingham, AL 35242.
When you arrive at the 2700 Building, you can park wherever you would like in the large parking lot. No parking decks to navigate or parallel parking skills needed!
The main doors will lead into the lower lobby which has stairs to the right and an elevator to the left. You’ll proceed to the 2nd floor to access my office.
If you’re appointment is outside of usual business hours for the main building (M-F, 9am-5pm) the main doors may be locked. In those cases, please send me a text at 205-502-4346 to let me know you’ve arrived. I’ll greet you at the 1st floor main doors to let you into the building.
Once on the 2nd floor, proceed to Suite 200 and through the glass doors.
A receptionist will be at the front desk to greet you. You can let them know you’re here for your appointment and they’ll notify me that you’ve arrived.
You may have a seat in any of the waiting areas in the lobby.
When you come to counseling, my hope is for you to feel that you’re entering a space that’s non-judgemental and safe. I always have a sound machine on in the hallway as an added level of privacy.
Inside the office, my goal is to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. You’re always welcome to grab a fidget, doodle with colored pencils, or pet our stuffed animal doggy (or orangutan) while we talk.
